Garia LSV Luxury Golf Cart to Shine in Geneva

Now that Tiger Woods has apologized and all is fine and well in the golf world, the Garia LSV street legal golf cart is ready to meet its luxury customers at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show next week. The cart will be seen in the booth of Garia's partner, Valmet Automotive, alongside the Think City EV, Fisker Karma and the EVA electric concept. “An LSV is ideal for shorter trips and recreational purposes, and with The Garia LSV it is possible to drive directly from your home to, for example, the golf course. This is something many people will appreciate, and it makes The Garia LSV a unique product,” Anders Lynge, the designer of the Garia said in a release. Garia LSV's drivetrain is built by the same Italian company which produces the Ducati gearboxes, while the double wishbone front suspension is uselessly similar to those found in sports cars and inspired by Formula 1 cars. It is powered by a 3-phase AC motor developing 3 kW (4 Hp) for 60 minutes. The maximum speed of 15 mph/24 km/h (6 mph/11 km/h in reverse) makes the aforementioned use of double wishbone front suspension a complete waste of time and money... The cart features just about all the gadgets you would want from such a vehicle, including a built-in refrigerator and even an exclusive personalization program where you can choose to have the Garia painted in your favorite color or matched to your other cars. autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Geneva Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
