Fuerza Bruta Live Show Presented by Lexus

It’s a busy year for Lexus, as the carmaker celebrates its 20th anniversary in the United States. The company is therefore getting involved in all sorts of promotions and campaigns to strengthen the brand’s awareness on the continent, especially with hispanic-focused initiatives.

The next event promoted by Lexus as part of its campaign is a VIP evening with Fuerza Bruta at the Filmore Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami on November 2, 2009. The event will kick-off with a cocktail reception, followed by the electric theatrical experience that will engulf the audience in the spectacle, where “performers suspended in mid-air surrounded by a vast sea of mylar; and gorgeous women twisting ethereally in a lucite pool above the audience.”

Fuerza Bruta premiered in Buenos Aires in 2005 and has been seen in Lisbon, London, Bogota and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival the following years. It made its US debut at New York City’s Daryl Roth Theater, where it received critical praise and has broken the house record for the longest-running show at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County.

This unique theatrical experience will be followed through 2010 by other events related to the Hispanic Heritage Month. Lexus partnered with Ocean Drive Magazine and the Miami Dolphins to host a reception during the Dolphins vs. Jets game on October 12, 2009 at the Ocean Drive Club at Landshark Stadium.

Furthermore, the Lexus Listening Lounge at the Miami Auto Show featured an impressive line-up of acclaimed Latino artists, including Javier Garcia, Locos Por Juana, Chris Syler, Liset Alea, Alejandra Alberti, Suenalo, Juan, Conjunto Progreso and Jorge Moreno. At each event, Lexus provided consumers the opportunity to interact with the Lexus IS series.
