French Autolib Charging Stations Now Available for Electric Motorcycles

French Autolib Charging Stations Now Available for Electric Motorcycles 1 photo
Today's good news from France is green, as electric car sharing service Autolib declares their recharging stations ready to accommodate electric motorcycles, as well.
The Autolib recharging service was until now available for the electric cars only, but as the electric motorcycles are gaining more and more momentum, it looks like the guys who run it figured out that they can expand.

The offer is a win-win situation especially as the prices are very affordable and we're positive this will add some boost to the e-bike market.

Autolib's electric bike charging services are offered on a subscription basis, with the annual fee of €15 ($19.6), which is of course, great. This subscription includes free charging for the first two hours during the day and for the first 4 of the night.

Each additional charging hour during the day is €1, and a whole night has the same price, so things are really neat even for those who can't recharge their bikes at home or at the office, provided they have an Autolib station near them. Way to go, Paris!
