Nissan seems determined to win more of the Chinese market. And who can blame them? It's the biggest automotive market in the world and prospects are looking even better.
The Nissan Friend-Me Concept was not unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show in April this year. The car that will result from this design exercise will be aiming at the mid-twenties Chinese customers, the ones born in the 1980s.

That's why the exterior looks like this. Since the targeted demographic is mostly driving at night, the Friend-Me Concept was designed so that it stands out in the dark (according to Nissan). The way it does that is by having boldly flowing sculpted lines along the body.

Inside the cabin is where the real magic happens. The innovation about the interior is that it was designed in such a manner that every one of the 4 occupants have access to the same information as the driver.

That is achieved by providing each passenger with dash readouts and everyone can share smartphone items from their devices to the on-board screen. Furthermore, all the occupants can change the ambience of the car.

This whole ordeal is possible through a unique center console stretching from the dash to between the rear seats that has screens visible from each seat that blend with the surface, only being turned on when someone demands it.

It sounds pretty good but how will it look like in the finished product? Hopefully, just as good as the Concept.
