Remember Francois Gissy and his awesome rocket-propelled bicycle? Good, because you'll be hearing more from him, as he attempts to set a new record in Switzerland, at Interlaken.
Francois teamed up with notorious Swiss manufacturer Hublot and he is looking to break his former 163+ mph (263 km/h) record. He will be using the same modified bicycle powered by a proper rocket engine, with Exotic Thermo Engineering technology.
The fuel is obviously, rocket fuel: high-concentration hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), broken down at high temperatures and delivering huge thrust.
We'll soon learn more on Gissy's Interlaken run, but something tells us his bicycle has just gotten faster. Godspeed, Francois!
