Last weekend’s Midnight Madness event provided some real crazy action to those that attended the Maryland International Raceway, when Chris Evans almost took off while doing a X275 radial-tire drag run.
Off to what appeared to be a great 1/8 mile run, Evans’ metallic green fox body Ford Mustang ended up doing a huge wheelie that eventually damaged the car. At least that’s what we are led to believe by the fact that Evans stopped the Stang shortly after hitting the ground.

Since the category doesn’t allow wheelie bars, the incident could have gone a lot worse, but we’re sure glad we don’t have to report any injuries. Unfortunately, Evans didn’t make it past the first round, but we have a feeling he’ll be right back in the green in no time.
