Four Exclusive Mopars for SEMA

American manufacturer Chrysler seems not to have forgotten the automotive enthusiasts which will attend the 2009 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) in Las Vegas next month, despite the recent struggles it was forced to go through. Mopar fans will have the chance to see no less than four specially designed vehicles: 556 hp Dodge Challenger, Jeep Wrangler turned mobile campsite, a luxurious Dodge Ram 1500 and another Wrangler, this time wearing... 40 inch tires. “Our Mopar vehicles demonstrate this company’s passion and enthusiasm for the automotive aftermarket,” Pietro Gorlier, Mopar CEO said when announcing the attendees. “We will gauge reaction to these vehicles and explore new directions as we develop Mopar performance parts and accessories for our vehicles.” Below is a little taste of what Las Vegas will witness next month. Dodge Challenger 1320
Named after the1,320 feet on a quarter-mile drag strip, the former Mopar Drag Pak Dodge Challenger is equipped with a 426 cubic inch HEMI V8, releasing 554 hp. Each and every one of those horses are transmitted to the road surface via a six-speed manual transmission and ARB locking differential.

It is fitted with Mopar police wheels four-corner, adjustable coil-over kit, bulged hood with HEMI scoop, front spoiler, grille panel and headlamp surround. And it's yellow, with matte black graphics...

Dodge Ram Bianco

Initially a Dodge Ram 1500 Sport, the Bianco is powered by a 5.7l HEMI V8, bulked up with the use of Mopar cold-air intake and dual exhaust and features Mopar hard tonneau, Ground Force lowering kit and 22-inch wheels. It is painted in Arctic Ice pearl.

Jeep Wrangler Overland

Your everyday Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon was modified by Mopar to become a "on-the-go mobile campsite." The cargo area has been increased to accommodate hauling gear, the seats are now rubberized utility floor, while the cargo rack received an ARB two-person Simpson II rooftop-mounted tent.

Still aimed at off-roaders, the Overland features AEV 3-inch suspension lift and a Full Traction rear sway bar. These alterations made possible the 35-inch tires to be mounted on 17-inch steel Mopar winter/off-road wheels.

Jeep Lower Forty

The lower Forty is sourced from a Wrangler and now boasts massive, 40-inch x 13.5-inch tires mounted on 20-inch forged-aluminum wheels. For the humongous wheels to be fitted, Mopar had to strip down Wrangler's body extensively, cutting three inches from the windshield frame and adding wider and higher front and rear fender flares.

The Lower Forty is powered by a 5.7l HEMI V8, paired with a Getrag 238 six-speed manual transmission.
