2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser Mopar Accessories Released

Chrysler today announced a new range of authentic Mopar accessories for the 2010 PT Cruiser. There are more than 50 accessories that allow the owners to customize their PT Cruiser, including alloy wheels, water sports carrier, bike carrier and exhaust tips. According to a release by the US-based manufacturer, the best-selling Mopar accessory for Chrysler PT Cruiser are premium carpeted floor mats, which provide a first-class look with embroidered Chrysler emblem and plush 24-oz. carpeting.

“With its iconic styling and versatile interior, we have sold more than 1.3 million Chrysler PT Cruisers worldwide,” said Pietro Gorlier, President & Chief Executive Officer, Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care. “At Mopar, we can further enhance Chrysler PT Cruiser with more than 50 factory-designed and quality-tested accessories.”

The 2010 PT Cruiser, which is available through Chrysler's authorized dealership network, will be priced at $18,275, including $720 destination. The car was officially launched in 2000 as model year 2001 and, even if the company initially aimed to phase out the model as part of its internal reorganization, Marchionne's arrival at the helm of Chrysler maintained the project alive.
