If the GTA V Independence Day pack isn’t making you feel happy, then maybe these new cars available within Forza Motorsport 5’s new Hot Wheels pack will do the trick.
Turn 10 Studios just introduced a new downloadable car pack for the Forza Motorsport 5 racing game, adding 10 new vehicles from different periods to choose from, all being carefully modeled and fully customizable.

The oldest car in the Hot Wheels pack is the 1939 Audi Auto Union Type D, a racing car designed by Ferdinand Porsche, boasting a twin-supercharger V12 engine mounted behind the driver, putting out enough power to break the rear tires loose even at 100 mph (160 km/h).

At the other end of the time scale, you get the 2015 Audi S3 Sedan fitted with a turbo-four-cylinder engine and the quattro drive system, churning about 300 hp and almost diesel-like torque at low rpm.

Between the two extremes, you also get the Lamborghini Veneno, the 1967 Lotus Type 49 open-wheel racecar, Mazda No.7 Andretti Autosport USF2000, 1952 Ferrari 375 as well as some low-buck but fun cars like the 1974 Toyota Celica GT, 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT, the 1959 Ford F-100 pickup and even the 1983 GMC Vandura G-1500 van, the same model used in The A-Team, which you can fit a NASCAR V8 engine and hit the track for a crazy experience.

Sounds like a lot of fun, but before you rush towards your Xbox to get the new DLC, we’ll remind you the pack comes at $9,99 on the Live Marketplace, just as Turn 10 Studios has accustomed us so far with the rest of its additional game upgrades.
