In a world where mobile gaming rakes in more money a year than an average person could fathom, it's a nonstop race to the orchards of plentiful bounty. Fortnite, Genshin Impact, PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, and Candy Crush are all some of the top-earning titles in the world. Honor of Kings by Tencent Games, launched in November 2015, has brought in more than $16 billion (2022). That's why every major player wants a piece of the pie.
I'd like to welcome Forza Customs to the pyramid-climbing stage, so let's hear a big round of mobile applause!

During your morning routine on the throne, have you ever sat, played Candy Crush, and said to yourself, "Man... I sure wish that instead of connecting dopamine-inducing colored candy, there were gear cogs, explosive barrels, and wheels?"

Well, your wildest dreams are about to come true with Forza Customs, a Candy Crush clone with Fortnite-looking graphics. This car-themed puzzle game was developed by Hutch Games. If you're unfamiliar with the company, they also made F1 Clash and Top Drives.

If you have never heard of these two, F1 Clash is a racing manager type of experience that relies on a 1v1 PvP (player vs. player) component. It even features all the official circuits, teams, and drivers from the 2023 FIA Formula One World Championship. Yes, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are there as well.

Their other game, Top Drives, is an automotive card collection game. While you won't be racing the cars yourself, it features an animated showdown with your selected vehicle. It reminds me of old albums with empty spaces where you used to place car stickers from bubble gums. Honk if you're over 30, and remember these!

Circling back to Forza Customs, the purpose is to play the Candy Crush-looking levels to earn points and get rewards in the shape of car parts, which you use to customize vehicles. You don't get to race the cars, but if it's of any consolation, you can take photos and brag to your friends that you spent 100 hours pimping out your Porsche 997 Carrera 4S or Ford Mustang.

Hopping over to the real Forza Motorsport racing game, there's a new update available that adds a couple of nice things.

There are quite a few new tracks, Yas Marina: Full Circuit, North Corkscrew, North Circuit, and South Circuit. New career events like the Prestige Tour featuring the British GT Series (November 16), V12 Power Series (Nov. 23), Maximum Velocity Series (Nov. 30), and Boutique Builds Series (December 7).

New Car Pass cars will be greeting us with the 1965 Lotus #1 Team Lotus Type 40 (Nov. 16), 2019 McLaren #03 720S GT3 (Nov. 23), 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT3 (Nov. 30), and 2019 Peugeot #7 DG Sport Compétition 308 (Dec. 7).

Also, don't sleep on the fresh but timed multiplayer events, Vintage Le Mans Sportscars (Nov. 16–22), Subaru BRZ Spec Series (Nov. 23–29), The Birth of Grand Prix (Nov. 30–Dec. 6), and Forza P2 Series (Dec. 7 – 13).

Forza Motorsport hasn't been received as a critical darling, and the players didn't gather in swarms to praise it, either, but there's time to course-correct for smoother waters.

While no one likes it when the marketing department is better at doing its job than the development team, everyone loves a "rising from the ashes" story, like what happened with Rainbow 6: Siege or Final Fantasy XIV.
