With Alex Lynn winning the 60th Macau Grand Prix yesterday, drivers running Mercedes-Benz Formula 3 engines have secured a hat-trick, with victories in the three most coveted Formula 3 events of the season: the Formula 3 Grand Prix in Macau, the Formula 3 Masters at Zandvoort and the FIA Formula 3 European Championship.
Alex Lynn: “This victory in one of the best-known Formula 3 races of the year means a lot to me. The Guia Circuit is one of the most challenging street circuits in the world and demands the drivers’ full concentration, since even the slightest mistake can cost victory and the race. So, winning this particular season highlight makes me extremely proud.”

The Macau Grand Prix is seen as one of the most prestigious circuits of the championship, having been staged since 1954 on the Guia street circuit, where a lot of Formula One greats have won in the past, including Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard and Ralf Schumacher.
