We can pretty much guarantee that you will not hear a better-sounding German V12 all week, month or even year. We honestly have no idea how the following Mercedes-Benz S 600 W220 is managing to sound almost exactly like a V12-engined Formula 1 car, but after a bit of digging we found that it has a fully custom exhaust made by a Japanese shop.
As you can see - and hear - in the following videos, this S 600 is modified in the Japanese VIP tuning style, which in essence translates as German or Japanese luxury cars that are bagged about as much as possible and have very few other exterior modifications.

This particular example has the non-facelift W220 M137 engine, which is a naturally-aspirated 5.8-liter V12 with the odd three valves per cylinder arrangement from the late 1990s.

We don’t know how many horsepower the custom exhaust brings over the stock 367 hp, but the sound it makes is ear-candy for any high-pitched V12 noise lover out there. From what we found so far, it was created by a Japanese exhaust specialist company called Technical Garage Sasaki, situated in Kawasaki City and it includes a manifold that looks like pure art.

Don't forget to pump up the volume and get your children out of the room, because the following videos might scare them indefinitely.
