Formula 1 - Final Entry List Announced by the FIA

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has officially announced the final entry list for the 2009 Formula 1 Championship. The document from the international body comes to confirm the presence of the newly-named Brawn GP team on this year's grid, as well as some minor changes in awarding the competition numbers. In addition to the former entry list announced by the FIA, the new one comprises the names of Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, official drivers of the Brackley-based team. The two drivers were given the No 21 and 22 racing numbers respectively, as Ross Brawn's outfit will take the last garage of the pit lane during 2009. Also, the numbers for Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen were reversed (the former will be the No. 3 entry, while the Finnish driver will take No 4), as the ones for Scuderia Toro Rosso's Sebastien Buemi and Sebastien Bourdais.
