According to Autoblog, the range of Babloat's new tennis shoes, the Propulse and the Team, have been developed using Michelin rubber. Starting with the Australian Open, in January 2007, Andy Roddick plays with the new Babolat Propulse shoes. They are equipped with a sole developed in partnership with Michelin. Thanks to its tread design’s oblong shape, combined with an exclusive and exceptionally tough Michelin rubber compounding, the Propulse shoe sole is a spectacular progress for grip and abrasion resistance.
The sole is equipped with the OCS (Optimized Cell System) technology designed by Michelin and with the Exact Pro technology developed by Babolat as well.
The Propulse range includes Propulse 2 and Propulse Junior2, both of them being signed by Andy Roddick. Thanks to the Michelin technology, the tennis shoes were made to last longer.
Ladies were not left aside in Propulse's range of tennis shoes using Michelin rubber as there is a pair which has been designed especially for them.
The Team range includes more models than the Propulse: Team All Court 4, Team All Court 4 White, Team Clay 4, Team All Court Style 2, Team Junior Style 2, Team Lady 3 and Team Junior 4.
