Ford Warriors in Pink and New Line Cinema Fight Against Breast Cancer, Launch Contest

Giving back to the community has always been an important part of any culture, therefore it’s important everybody does their part. In their fight against cancer, Ford Warriors in Pink teamed up with New Line Cinema in an effort to rise awareness. By entering a contest, you can win a Los Angeles getaway to attend the premiere of New Line Cinema’s latest movie called Valentine’s Day, on February 8.

“Ford Warriors in Pink actively works on creative efforts to continue the fight against breast cancer 365 days a year,”
said Connie Fontaine, Brand Content and Alliances Manager for Ford Motor Company. “The exposure from Valentine’s Day and the strength and unity of the all-star cast heightens the awareness of this important initiative – leading to early detection and saving lives through the funds generated at Fordcares.com.”

If interested in the contest, check out www.fordvehicles.com/warriorsinpink. Besides the trip to the premiere of the Valentine’s Day movie, you can also win an all-expenses-paid vacation for two to Los Angeles and a brand-new 2011 Ford Fiesta. The contest will continue until March 1.

“This is a wonderful and rare opportunity to partner with an organization in a promotion that creatively brings attention to a very worthy cause,” said Nicole Sedita, vice president, Warner Bros. National Promotions. “The movie Valentine’s Day is about the one day devoted to expressions of love, and what better way to express how much you care than to support the fight against breast cancer.”

To support the cause, stars like Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway and George Lopez will appear in ads meant to remind the danger of breast cancer.

Ford has spent more than $105 million supporting the breast cancer cause.
