Ford Shows What it Means to Go Further

Ford Motor Company has switched things up a bit by replacing their “Drive One.” tagline with “Go Further”. It looks like their focus will now be on advanced technologies and fuel saving measures, as the video that promotes the new slogan promotes compact vehicles like the Focus, Fiesta and Escape.
The American automaker has taken the lessons learned during the crisis to heart and is reducing the number of platforms it offers. Their product portfolio seems streamlined now, and it shows clear focus on the global market, where models like the Focus and Fusion sedans are virtually identical no matter where they are bought.

“Go Further” is actually Ford’s new global tagline, and that’s why they don’t name the Fusion and Escape, as these will be known as the Mondeo and Kuga in Europe when they are launched later this year.
