With Ford set to bring back the Mach 1 nameplate for the 2021 model year (more on this below), enthusiasts are eager to meet the newcomer. After all, this badge has been missing since the SN-95 generation built between 2003 and 2004. Speaking of which, those ponies are still hot and we are now here to discuss a custom incarnation of such a New Edge Mach 1.
This build seems to be all about the "B" and not just because the thing is dressed in a color named Azure Blue. For starters, it's boosted. As such, its DOHC 32-valve 4.6-liter aluminum block V8 has been gifted with a Procharger. We're dealing with a D1SC unit that delivers 13 psi of boost.

The motor now delivers 464 ponies and 408 lb-ft of twist at the rear wheels, so we’re talking well above 500 hp at the crank. In fact, you can listen to the motor and check out its dyno chart in one of the Instagram posts below.

Then we have the bagged nature of the Blue Oval machine, with the air suspension allowing the thing to ride extremely close to the asphalt. And we must also mention the custom deep-dish wheels, with their black center sections matching the finish of the factory shaker hood.

Anthony, the owner of the pony, decided to install a pair of bucket seats, along with racing harnesses, so he can enjoy proper accommodation when throwing the Mach 1 at the canyons.

Returning to the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 mentioned in the intro, keep in mind we got the best look yet late last month. And this is expected to "replace" the Shelby GT350, an S550 that will forever hold a special place in our hearts, so it has big shoes to fill.

The automotive producer describes the future model as the "pinnacle of style, handling, and 5.0-liter V8 performance” so, once again, our expectations for the newcomer are sky-high.
