This Mustang driver wanted to give some people at a motor show the thrills by performing a massive burnout just before leaving. He should have stopped after a few seconds of burning the rear rubbers, but he wasn’t to pleased with the crowds reaction.
So he had a last attempt, but due to the heated clutch from the previous burnout, the Mustang had it and decided not to spin its rear wheels anymore. Feeling a little embarrassed and wanting to redeem himself in front of the people, the careless driver kept the engine on its rev-limit, managing only to further heat up the clutch.
The car’s punishment ended with a loud shattering sound, as the clutch broke, and pieces of it bursting outside. Bystanders said that the car needed a tow as its clutch, pressure plate and flywheel were completely shattered.
