Not long ago Lexus made the not-launched-yet RC and RC F available for preorder and along with this it also released the afferent dealership brochures. And we got really excited seeing that Lexus will offer for the first time an electric orange body color to chose for it new F car.
As there was no other picture available, we started colorizing one of the automaker’s press photo to give an idea of what the RC F will look like in the new orange setup. But now, here’s the real thing.
Some one in Japan saw probably the first orange Lexus RC F being tested on the highway, snapped a pic of it (a bit blurry, but we still have to thank him, whoever he is) and posted on the Internet, where it quickly started to spread on multiple pages.
Well, it seems we got the shade a bit wrong as the real thing is way more brighter that we imagined. Still, we only saw a square orange sample... printed on a cardboard... of which a photo was taken and sent over the Internet. Moreover, we actually did a bright version orange like the one in the spy photo, but regarding the rest of Lexus’ vehicle color palette we thought it’s not gonna happen.
Still, which one do you prefer?
