Fiat Panda Gets Imported from Italy Commercial

The partnership between Chrysler Group and Fiat has resulted in platform sharing and even car swapping, but it looks like marketing teams have borrowed from each other as well. Why do we say that?
Because Fiat has released a commercial for the new Panda that clearly has the “Imported From Detroit” theme incorporated into it, only it speaks of the greatness of the Italian nation.

It speaks of passion for engineering, the power of the young people that will shape Italy’s future and the soul that goes into making... a Panda. And the cliches don’t end there, because there’s a sprinkle of espresso and pasta on top of liberal use of Italian landmarks.

As you’ll probably know by now, Italy is in the middle of a financial crisis, and we expect this sort of hard-working and passionate attitude will sit well with consumers. But one thing is for sure, the Panda is no Chrysler 300!

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
