Ferrari F40 Stretch Limo Is One Weird Ride

It seems that some people really feel the need to give birth to controversial (to say the least) automotive creations. We’re referring to aftermarket conversions here, as today we are going to talk about one of the most unusual (not necessarily in a good way) four-wheeled cocktails we’ve ever seen.

We’ll start by saying that the general flavor comes from the Ferrari F40. We’re talking about an iconic supercar that has managed to conquer the hearts of a infinite number of enthusiasts from around the world. “Around the world” is a good expression as this is how we’ll travel. We’ll leave the F40’s home country, Italy, behind and head for Japan. This is where you can find the vehicle we are talking about.

As you can see, we’re avoiding mentioning the actual facts. Ok, we know that we can’t go on forever without telling you what the story is about - we’ll make it quick so it won’t hurt so badly: a stretch limo replica of the Ferrari F40.

The vehicle is based on a 1989 vehicle probably coming from Japan and is “powered” by a (are you ready?)... 1.6 liter engine.

So, we’ve got a seventh-hand car that was stretched and received body panels resembling those of the Ferrari F40, also being gifted with a set of custom 19-inch rims that use a red body, a polished outer circle and, of course, Prancing Horse badges. Let’s see what else does the creation bring. The car offers ABS, a sunroof, tinted windows, a CD changer, air conditioning and leather-finished racing seats.

We hope we’re not going to be sorry we mentioned this: the F40 limo is offered for sale on Goo-Net (we must thank Carscoop for the... scoop).
