Ferrari Car Launch Broadcast Live on the Internet, on Thursday

Ferrari initially confirmed the launch date for their 2010 single-seater for January 28, but owed the media and its fans the exact location of that event. Later on, it emerged that none of the accredited F1 photographers were sent an invitation for the launch event, leading many to believe that Ferrari have decided to do a low-profile presentation of their new car.

However, during a media statement issued by the Ferrari official site, it was unveiled that the Scuderia would show its 2010 challenger at their very headquarters in Maranello.

The car will be unveiled at 10.30 am at a ceremony in the New GT Assembly Line pavilion attended by the Scuderia Ferrari’s sponsors and partners, and the world’s media,” said the statement from Ferrari.

The press release also states that the members of the international media will all attend the event, at which Stefano Domenicali, Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo will speak during the live-broadcast ceremony.

The press conference featuring the Scuderia’s technicians and drivers, and, weather permitting, the first footage of the new car lapping at Fiorano for a promotional video, will also be shown live in the afternoon. (...) Enthusiasts can also stay in contact with the Scuderia through the Ferrari pages on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter,” added the statement.

Therefore, Ferrari enthusiasts from all over the world will be able to see the entire event live on www.ferrari.com tomorrow, starting 10.30 AM.
