While some gearheads out there simply like to jump into the action when a brand spanking new supercar reaches its owners, others like to take a bit of time to enjoy the unboxing.
Well, we're here to cater to the needs of the latter and we've brought along a Ferrari 488 Spider unboxing video.
The footage comes from supercar collector and supercar rental company owner Rob Ferretti, whose go-fast adventures we've featured numerous times before.
For this occasion, Rob gets to show us all the nice extras that come with a new Ferrari, from the spare key (remember the time when he talked about the 488 not letting you lock the key inside the trunk?) to the battery tender that owners living in areas where the cold season actually exists will turn to.
As for the financial side of the deal, this Ferrari, which came with a sticker price of almost $400,000, packs a brand new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 worth of options - for the record, the 650 hp 'Vette comes with an MSRP of $79,400.
And while we're talking Ferrari business, we have to mention the Italian engineers are already out there, testing the even spicier incarnation of the 488.- since we're talking about a model that still has a bit of a connection to the 458, the newcomer's life cycle means we shouldn't have to wait that much for the spicy version (we're expecting a 2017 or 2018 reveal).
Codenamed F142M, the vehicle is still in the early phases of its development process, at least judging by the spy video we delivered back in August (we can't be 100 percent sure about the destination of the ptototype, though).
As shown by the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, the 430 Scuderia and the 458 Speciale, the upcoming 488 derivatives will be a road-going version of the 488 Challenge racecar.
However, while Maranello has already revealed the GT3 and the GTE track-only incarnations of its twin-turbo V8 machine, the Challenge, which is destined for a one-make series, is still in the prototype phase - here's a 488 Challenge spy video we brought you over the weekend.
