Faraday Future Shows First Uncamouflaged Pice of Its Upcoming EV, Looks Good

After first releasing two videos showing the car completely camouflaged, Faraday Future has now put forward a single image of what appears to be the vehicle's front end wearing absolutely no disguise whatsoever.
Since we're still talking about a teaser, don't expect to see too much, but we do get to have a look at a few of the electric crossover's details. Things like its headlights and the probably fake frontal grille, and we have to say that both look quite promising.

First, the headlights. Naturally, they come with LED signature lights, and it definitely appears that it will be hard to mistake Faraday Future's EV for any other brand as the light strip goes from one side of the car to the other (similar to the FFZERO1 Concept). Apart from that, the actual headlights are sunk in darkness, but the previous videos showed we should expect them to be rather long and thin.

The faux grille is made out of Xs, with a few in the middle forming the Faraday Future logo. That too is clever design and shows FF has been putting a lot of thought into its first vehicle. The overall shape of the car seems split between the vertical lower part and the swooping hood, a nice contrast that could make the yet unnamed car stand out from the crowd.

But if the design seems covered, that doesn't mean Faraday Future is out of the woods just yet. Reports coming in last month showed the company is falling behind on the payments to the contractor building the $1 billion plant in Nevada.

Jia Yueting, the Chinese billionaire who is funding the project, has also publicly admitted that his main company, LeEco (also developing an EV), is having financial troubles, which could impact FF as well. But the release of this teaser is the company's way of saying that everything is on track and the car will get its official reveal early next year at CES.
