With the new-age Charger now in its second decade, there are still gear heads out there who wish to see two fewer doors on the model. And while most of these gear heads can be found complaining about the sedan ford on the Internet, there are also a few who take the matter into their own hands. This appears to have been the case with the contraption we have here, which is trying to trick the world into believing its Charger Convertible form.
Of course, as anybody who knows a thing or two about (muscle) cars will tell you, this is actually a Ford Mustang, one that belongs to the previous generation of the pony.
Nevertheless, the integration of the Mopar bits and pieces seems to have been done with remarkable precision. From the front and rear fascia, to the light clusters, it's clear that the contraption required plenty of attention.
Still, the said light clusters don't seem to fall in line with the overall proportions of the 'Stang, since the Charger is considerably larger than the Mustang. Perhaps this is why the owner installed those massive wheels, as the rims appear to match the size of the headlights and taillights.
As you'll get to notice in the Instagram post at the bottom of the page, which showcases the crossbreed, the thing comes with a Texas license plate. Oh, and while we're talking details, let's not skip the all-important badging, which can be found at both ends of the car, just as it would on an actual Dodge.
Now, what use could one find for such a vehicle? Well, for instance, if you're looking for a way to upset Blue Oval and Mopar aficionados alike, this seems like the perfect solution. Heck, this one will probably also make Chevy fans angry.
