F1 Rocks Sao Paolo to Feature Eminem

Rap star Eminem has made a forceful comeback into the music industry this year, and his next stop is the world of Formula One. For the first time in his career, Eminem (or Marshall Bruce Mathers III, as nobody knows him although this is his real name) will sing at a concert related to a Formula One Grand Prix, during the Sao Paolo F1 Rocks event this autumn.

F1 Rocks has held two concerts in the series so far. The first one was during last year's Singapore Grand Prix, which marked the beginning of the collaboration between Bernie Ecclestone's F1 and Universal Music Group International, while the second happened during the recent Italian Grand Prix.

Although it will not mark the season finale in the 2010 Formula One championship, the second location that will host an F1 Rocks concert will be Sao Paolo, host of the Brazilian Grand Prix. The concert will take place on the Friday night before the race and will be held in an yet-to-be-announced location in Sao Paolo.

Appearing in the wake of his seventh album, 2010’s ‘Recovery’, and global number 1 single, ‘Love The Way You Lie’ on which he dueted with Rihanna, Eminem’s Brazilian live debut will mark one of the biggest live shows ever to hit São Paulo,” announced F1 rocks in a media release on their official website.

This will be the first time Eminem will sing at a concert in South America, despite having sold over 80 million albums worldwide in his singing career. His latest album “Recovery” sold in over 4 million units already.
