They are already calling Harris "the good Chris" after the overwhelmingly negative reviews for the all-new Top Gear show. Even though he is like a sidekick for Evans and Matt LeBlanc, we have always fully supported him, even before the former /Drive editor had signed up with the biggest car show in the world. Why? Because he is a car geek, like us.
Realizing that their internet presence has to be fixed, and soon, the people behind the BBC show have started filming the ever-popular drag races. However, this time, it's a behind-the-scenes interview with Harris. His knowledge of cars is put to the test, as he is asked to identify four supercars by the sound their engines make.

He immediately gets the first one right, which is the Ferrari F12. After that, he confuses the V10 engine of a Lexus LFA for the V12 of an Aventador. This clearly puts him off, but he still manages to identify the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 of the Mercedes-AMG C63.

For whatever reason, Harris can't identify the last sound, belonging to none other than Lamborghini's Aventador. Everybody in the comments section they got that one right the first time, and they should be allowed to present Top Gear in Chris' place. However, people are unusually cruel after the flop of season 23, so we can't take that to heart.

The first episode without Clarkson, Hammond and May was released on May 29th. And with it comes a new spin-off show, Extra Gear, filmed at the same studio after the main show is over, and presented by TGTV’s Rory Reid and Chris Harris.

The first show was all about the new track, which is more like a mini rallycross stage with water and jumps. However, we know that Rory has filmed a Mustang video, and Chris has reviewed all kinds of crazy supercars, from McLarens to Ferraris. So whatever you do, don't click that dislike button or we can't be friends anymore.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
