With the Internet being everything these days, motorsport addicts can get a lot of goodies from different events. Of course, nothing beats watching a race in the stands or even live on TV, but sometimes exciting stuff will arrive after the competition is long over.
We've seen this happen in Le Mans, where onboard videos shot by cameras inside LMP1 prototypes during the race surfaced a couple of days after Porsche celebrated their win.

Pikes Peak makes no exception, as you can see on the competition's official YouTube channel. There, we stumbled upon a video showing Rhys Millen's performance from inside his racer's cockpit, something you don't get too see very often during the sprint to the top.

Rhys Millen happens to be this year's winner at Pikes Peak after he raced to the top at the helm of the Latvian built Drive eO PP03 electric race car in 9:07.222. The win marked the first electric powered overall victory at the PPIHC and also the first time an EV had defeated all internal combustion challenges in a head to head race.

Although not as fast as Sebastian Loeb in 2013, Millen didn't go easy on the car as you'll see in the video.

Also, the attempt was much quieter, and if the images were to be played in slow motion, the clip would make a good chillout and relaxation tool, considering the beautiful scenery that surrounds the driver along the course.

We'll stop the words now and let the images roll in the video you'll find embedded below.
