CRP Group has just released a presentation video for Energica, the first Italian electric street-legal sportsbike. We've hinted you earlier that this cool machine will be showcased at the EICMA in Milan, next week.
The present video explains a lot of the technologies used to manufacture the Energica and offers an official insight in the intricate design of this nifty bike. One really cool thing is that pretty much every technology used in Energica already belongs to the CRP Group and this meas true freedom to experiment, re-engineer, tweak and re-use, with the prospect of building a truly amazing bike.
While Energica is still in the prototype phase, it is expected to be widely available in 2014. However, the pre-sale has already begun, with a refundable €500 ($) upfront deposit. You can expect a base price of €18,000 ($22,940).
