The only thing which can make a Ducati cooler that it already is? Most likely a paint job so stunning and so close to perfection that is literally changes the whole game. By all means, this Desmosedici RR from Death Spray Customs is one of the best-looking Ducatis we ever laid eyes upon, including the Superleggera.
With a livery which has none of the preciousness of the original Ducati Corse red, the Death Spray Customs Demosedici RR blends more than art in the mix. Is it a statement, like many artists say, but this is not about empty words. It tells the story of a racing bike replica which can be just as cool without displaying and screaming out its nature.

Well, the bike is special, and pretty much anyone could tell this by the absent headlight and turn signals, but this darkened livery makes it look truly spectacular. Not only was choosing the Urban Camo scheme a very bold decision, but painting in in such a way that “Origami Camo” seems really a credible name makes it even more spectacular, especially as such a trim is as rare as it gets.

Even the decision to alter the original paint of such an exclusive bike, rumored to cost around $75,000 (€55,000) is a bit bold, so to speak. Other Ducati purists are most likely going to hate the owner, the designer and the very painter of this Desmosedici RR, but we’re ready to pick up a fight defending them, because we simply love this machine. Those lucky enough to have visited the BikeShed MS exhibition in London during the past weekend most likely got a much more rewarding, closer look.
