In a world where jobs are harder to come by and the work conditions and wages are not exactly top-notch, learning that a motorcycle manufacturer gains recognition as one of the top employers in their country is something newsworthy. Well, long story short, Ducati is one of the best employers in Italy, and this has just been certified officially. Fancy becoming a part of the Italian bike industry? It looks like Ducati is THE place.
The certification marks the end of a long and in-depth study carried out by the Top Employers Institute, an organization whose primary target is to analyze the quality of the work conditions. The study takes place annually and investigates the field of personnel management and human resources, taking into consideration a lot of factors and best practices.

While the “Top Employers Italia” is not a contest with winners and losers, this certification serves as cognizance for the quality of the employment and working conditions of a manufacturer, a neat complement for the quality of the motorcycles and the other accolades the Borgo Panigale machines received over the years.

An optimal working environment is able to encourage not only professional growth but also the personal and human growth of employees. The Top Employers study has verified and certified that Ducati operates with excellence in the field of HR and offers a wide range of benefits and proactive initiatives to its employees. From the working conditions to the non-monetary benefits and structured training and development policies, everything is consistently in line with the company culture,” said Alessio Tanganelli, the Regional Director of the Top Employers Institute.

In response, Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati Motor Holding declared: “We are very satisfied and proud of this acknowledgement, which rewards all that we have done over the past few years to make of Ducati employees the focus of our attention. Ducati as a company is characterized by a fervent passion for the product and brand and by women and men who, thanks to this sense of belonging, are the best ambassadors of our motorcycles among our fans.

Being a Top Employer makes us even more attractive for the best talents in every field, from marketing to design, and from production to finance. We are well aware that the real value of any company is in the skills, determination and sense of belonging of its employees.

The Italian manufacturer is slowly regaining momentum after the hard times which preceded the 2012 big moment when Audi bought Ducati. The 22014 sales, even if only 2 percent up from the 2013 figures, represents a record year for Ducati. No less than 45,100 bikes have been sold worldwide in 2014, which is the 5th year with an upwards trend. The most popular bikes remain those in the Monster family.
