Ducati 848 Lands in I Am Number Four Movie

Following the 2010 Tron Legacy sequel, where Disney Pictures, Ducati and Science Fiction were brought together to form the perfect recipe of a blockbuster movie, the three are now back to attract motorcycle enthusiasts to cinemas in the latest ‘I Am Number Four’ sci-fi action movie.

We are now talking about a two-wheeled Italian motorcycle that is still in production, one of Ducati’s biggest hits, the 848, was ridden throughout the movie by Teresa Palmer (“Bedtime Stories,” “Grudge 2,” “Sorcerer’s Apprentice”) an Australian actress who plays ‘Number Six’.

“Number Six is a really powerful, dark, mysterious character,” said Director D. J. Caruso, “Teresa embodies the sexy confidence that was required to pull off the role. She has an infectious energy that blew me away when she read for me.”

The upcoming movie even has the rebellious spirit bikers are known for with the latest offering from Disney Pictures following John Smith (Alex Pettyfer), a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him.

“John is an extraordinary teen, masking his true identity and passing as a typical high school student to elude a deadly enemy seeking to destroy him. Three like him have already been killed ... he is Number Four,”
stated the press release. “Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Timothy Olyphant), John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events—his first love (Dianna Agron), powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny.”
