This Ducati was shown by motorcycle gear manufacturer just to make it clear for everybody how cool can carbon fiber look when skillfully used. While we here are not exactly the most hardcore carbon fiber fans, we must admit this 1198 looks stupendous.
The bike is real and it rides on a constant basis on the tracks of Japan. It probably looks so smooth and sleek because AFG Moto has been very careful not to push too much carbon in the eye of the beholder. There's plenty of fiber on display, but with a balanced amount of smooth, shiny racing fairing to go.
We love how the pinstripe and other minimal red accents match the bright, fiery red of the frame, and this simply adds to the clean, yet impressive attire of this Ducati. The engine was overhauled to higher specs by MotoStretta Japan and a J-Mac carbon-sleeve exhaust was also thrown in.
