Team Icon Brammo has unveiled their new TTXGP machines for the 2013 season. At the same time the team has announced the two riders which will hopefully bring even more glory for the tam: Eric Bostrom and Steve Atlas, each riding a white/neon yellow and neon orange Empulse RR bike, respectively.
Both riders will be wearing IconA rmada helmets and update Overlord leathers, with pictures of these scheduled to be released as soon as the new liveries are ready.
On a technical note, the 203 Empulse RR bikes have received bodywork tweaks and sport a revised fairing with a more sporty airflow. The battery capacity and motor power have also been increased for the current season.
With FIM sanctioning the possibility that electric bikes compete in the same classes with combustion engine motorcycles, we might say that a new era dawns and will hopefully entice the manufacturers to better their machines and offer more performance from the basic models to the racing ones.
