Drones Will Put Dentists Out of Work If They Keep This Up

As if the gorgeous aerial pictures and footage they capture weren't enough, people are now starting to find new ways of making their drones worth the buy.
Some choose to mount flamethrowers on them while others use them for a new sport that's surely going to be a blast once VR headsets become wide-spread gadgets, and everybody has access to them. However, there are other, more menial tasks that a drone can perform.

For instance, you can use it to get a cable to a previously inaccessible spot, or you can use it to scare off those pesky pigeons that made a mess of your house. It's safe to say that if you own one and you're willing to think a little outside the box, you're going to find some use for it sooner or later that will give you the opportunity to tell your better half "see, I told you it was worth it to get one."

However, we doubt that the stunt pulled by this dad and his friend in Australia would meet the approval of many moms out there. In this case, a female voice can be heard so we can speculate that she was on board with it. Just in case it's not very clear, the kid had a loose tooth, and because the old method of tying a string to the door and shutting it close isn't good enough, they did the same thing but replaced the boring door with a filming drone.

Fortunately, Child Control wasn't required as everything went to plan, and the tooth was removed without any fuss. Besides getting rid of that annoying remnant of his early childhood, the kid also has a very nice video of the whole event.

The only downside we can find is that the drone makes pretty much the same noise as the dentist's drill, which kind of defeats the purpose. But he's young, he doesn't know about the horrors of dental work just yet.
