Everybody knows what happens when cars leave a parade or a meet. A bit of a burnout, perhaps some extra tire smoke and people will be happy. Nevertheless, there’s one Corvette owner in Maryland who decided to take his illegal stunts to the highway and now has to deal with the long arm of the law.
As you’ll be able to see in the clip below, 25-year-old Harry Matthew Huntsman didn’t exactly play it safe in the proximity of the 94th and Coastal Highway in Ocean City, Md. While he did show decent car handling skills, it was all a dirty affair.
And if the donuts didn’t see any other cars surrounding the dancing C6 ‘Vette, the following burnouts involves the Corvette burning rubber dangerously close to the cars waiting in line on its right. As for the pedestrians on the sideawalk, they could’ve easily gotten in the way of an out-of-control car.
After the video went online, the Ocean City Police Department found out about the public road hooning. They might’ve expected such events to happen, since the stunt took place during the Cruising Ocean City show that brought over 3,500 mean machines for its 25th year.
Huntsman now faces no less than six traffic charges, in what seems to be a lesson that he most likely won’t forget. Sure, all the attention from the passers-by was nice, with the cheering and the filming coming as a bonus. But now the driver will have to pay for it.
