The Crew Motofest arrives on current and last-generation consoles and PC on September 14. If you're a huge fan and can spare the extra money, the Gold and Deluxe Editions will get you three days of Early Access, among other treats. Also, take a look at the Ubisoft+ subscription service because it's cheaper than buying the full game. Accounting aside, let's see if your old and dusty steering wheel is compatible with Motorfest.
The overwhelming majority of people usually play racing games with a controller or, God forbid, a mouse and keyboard. But some men "want to watch the world burn" and play with the latest and greatest steering wheel, gear shifter, pedals, and the whole shebang.

You're in luck if you're a PC nerd and own a Fanatec ClubSport gadget. But it also works with Logitech G27, G29, G920, G923, and Logitech Racing Pro Pedals. Thrustmaster wasn't left behind and boasts the most extended list of peripherals from the entire supported range.

You have your garden variety Thrustmaster T818, the T128, T150, T300 RS, T3PM, T500 RS, T80, T-GT, T-GT2, TMX, TX, and this is just cherry picking. You'll find almost everything the brand made, from the ol' Hotas Warthog Flight Stick Joystick to the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Dual Throttle, T3PA Add-On Pedals, T500 RS Wheel Set, TH8 RS Shifter, and Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488GTB Edition Wheel Set.

Over on the PlayStation 4 side of things, Fanatec and Thrustmaster rule the roster, with some Logitech G29 sprinkled on the side.

On PlayStation 5, nothing much changes, but you need to check the box or label for compatibility with PS5. For example, you have the Logitech Racing PRO Sony Wheel Set and the Logitech Racing PRO Xbox Wheel Set.

Speaking about Xbox, the brands divide into the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S camps. However, they're more or less the same models from the PlayStation side.

Regarding options, you'll be able to remap your buttons, which is crucial for a hardcore gamer that spends north of $1000 on a great driving rig.

If you like riding with the Dynamic Wheel Range on, you'll find a 1:1 ratio for your racing experience. If you don't like it, you can always switch to a static wheel range.

Dynamic Force Feedback is one of the most impressive features because it's based on the vehicle you're driving, flying, or riding. In theory, if you're going offroading with the Lamborghini Revuelto and a Jeep Wrangler, you should feel a difference between the two.

I've played The Crew Motorfest Closed Beta and thought it was relaxing and fun. Not to mention great looking when you kick it into high gear at 4K Ultra Settings.

As I've said in the beginning, before coughing up 70 bucks for the game, wait for the reviews to come out first, then see if Ubisoft+ is more advantageous.
