Dinan Releases S3-R M3

Although it might seem like we are obsessed with natural aspiration today, this is not true. We are always obsessed with natural aspirated powerplants. Therefore, we are happy to report that Dinan Cars has developed a tuning program for the BMW M3 Coupe, one that adds 113 hp without the use of forced induction.

The Dinan S3-R M3 packs a mighty 527 hp and 407 lb-ft of torque punch. This has been achieved by increasing the V8’s displacement. The 4.0 liter powerplant has been bored and stroked, gaining 608 cc. It has received a carbon fiber high flow intake and bored out high glow throttle bodies for improved breathing. The engine’s exhaust system now features a racing middle section and a high flow overall design.

The S3-R M3 has been gifted with a new suspension system, comprising of new springs, new front anti-sway bar, carbon fiber strut braces and racing rear toe links. The car rides on bespoke lightweight rims (each weighs just 19 lbs), wrapped in high performance tires. The front ones come in a 275/30 size, while the power-delivering rear ones come in a 295/30 size.

The U.S. tuning company offers a special warranty pack for the kit, matching BMW North America’s 4 tears / 50,000 miles warranty.

The car does not feature any other exterior modification besides the aforementioned rims, so we could say that, for certain automotive aficionados on the road, the S3-R M3 is a sleeper...

"The E92 M3 carries the tag line on the BMWNA website that <<racecars shouldn’t be confined to race tracks>>, Dinan could not agree more." stated the press release.
