New Dinan Signature Package for BMW

The California based BMW tuner, Dinan, is bringing a new addition to its Signature Series Program. The BMW M5, M6, 135i and 335i will benefit from the newest Signature Packages developed by Dinan.

For the M5 and M6 models, the new line includes the high performance engines 5.7l S85 engine that puts out 611 horsepower and incorporates driveline modifications. The engine was developed using the same technology as the S62 Grand -Am Daytona race engines.

The package stars Stage 3 Suspension System, with front springs, Camber plates (for reduced understeer in sharp turns) and Koni shocks, BMWblog.com reported. The 135i and 335i models got Dinan's N54 engine. The cars could get an increase in power to up to 398 horsepower.

The engine features a double-sized intercooler, that reduces boost pressure on the stock turbochargers. The Signature Packages also include Free Flow exhaust, high capacity oil cooler and Stage 3 performance engine software with boost upgrade. With all these high performance tweaks, don't expect the price to be low.

The tag on these packages reach up to $11,292 and that is not including the $4,999 19-inch lightweight forged wheels (without the tires) and the $239 Signature floor mats. Both of them are optional, but odds are if you spent all that money on tweaking your BMW, the extra $200 they ask for the mats will look like a bargain.

The Dinan Signature Package comes days after BMW released its own Sport Package for the US market. The price for this package, however, has not yet been made public.
