If you were around (and aware) in the early-to-mid 1980s, you may remember a sitcom called Diff’rent Strokes (back then, sexual references were less well hidden than they are in today’s TV programs and movies). One of the main roles, the daughter of a wealthy businessman who takes in two African-American kids from Harlem, was played by (sort of famous) actress Dana Plato, who later sadly died from overdosing in an RV.
That RV is now for sale, according to Jalopnik. Furthermore, the Chieftain Winnebago, is also the scene where Dana Plato’s son also sadly committed suicide as well, so the whole story is unbelievably grim. Apparently, the ‘Bago isn’t for sale on any internet sites, and the only indication that somebody wants to get rid of it in return for monetary compensation is the cardboard on its windscreen, with the words ‘For Sale’.

We, honestly think that a vehicle with such a macabre history should be destroyed without even a shadow of a doubt. It also represents the epitome of what is evil about the movie industry, as according to an article in People Magazine, published after her death stated “Dana Plato, the lovable star of Diff’rent Strokes, grew up to be a petty crook, an addict, an alcoholic and, with her death at age 34, a Hollywood casualty.”
