Attention all Forza Motorsport and NASCAR enthusiasts! Next week, get ready for one of the most exciting events you can get in a track-focused racing game. The best part, is that aside from the NASCAR content, there are a ton of other legendary vehicles incoming just around the corner, pun intended.
Forza Motorsport had its ups and downs... or better said, had its downs But it seems like the team at Turn 10 Studios is firing on cylinders trying to course-correct this ship to clearer waters. The fan base is there to support it, after all.

Starting Tuesday, January 16, you can begin downloading Forza Motorsport Update 4 on Xbox Series X|S and PC. There will be new content in modes like Career, Featured Multiplayer, and Rivals. However, with the small caveat that you can start enjoying these new features from Thursday, January 18.

One of the most significant new additions is the iconic Daytona International Speedway track, with its banked, high-speed corners. Thankfully, that's not all. It will have two layouts for both Career Mode and Featured Multiplayer.

First, there's the 2.5-mile Tri-oval Circuit that's been built for players to go as fast as their cars can handle. Then, a more technical 3.59-mile Sports Car Circuit awaits those who dare to put their driving skills to the ultimate test. This track sounds like it will benefit hardcore players with steering wheels, pedals, and, why not, even shifters.

The Daytona International Speedway track is not just great, but it comes packed with automotive history. NASCAR founder Bill France Sr. is responsible for everything. The legend goes that in 1959, he wanted to make the fastest track the world had ever seen at that point.

The track saw countless races and championships like the Daytona 500, IndyCar, and IMSA. Most recently, the Daytona International Speedway was renovated in 2016 and can now hold 101,500 seats. The team is also throwing in the 1990 Mercury #15 Whistler Radar Cougar XR-7 into the mix.

In the Forza series, this beauty comes with a 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 that can deliver 675 hp (503 kW) with 560 ft-lb (759 Nm) of torque. It weighs a measly 2,296 lbs. (1,041 kg), which means it should be ultra-quick on its feet around the track. Furthermore, between January 25 and January 31, the Daytona Sports Car Series event will be taking place.

More fresh entries include the 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale EVO, 2017 Abarth 124 Spider, 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia, 2019 Subaru WRX STI S209 Forza Edition, and 2015 McLaren P1 GTR. These are scattered among the Rivals and Spotlight menus.

For those who went the extra mile and bought the Car Pass, the 2019 McLaren Senna GTR will be available starting January 18, followed by the 2019 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione 488 GTE on January 25, the 2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro on February 1, and the 2018 Cadillac #57 TA CTS-V on February 8.

For those of you who are disappointed by the lack of technical game improvements from Update 4, Turn 10 Studios is hard at work on that as well. The only problem is that the much-needed and requested fixes will be arriving as part of Update 5. Unfortunately, we don't know when that patch will be launched. Hopefully, a February release date at the latest.
