All this aftermarket play has made us all dreamy. Thus, we’ve decided to find one of the vehicles we tested that would serve as a base for a virtual tuning project. After we held a little office meeting, one winner was chosen: the Dacia Duster.
Returning to the our computers, we started another search, this time looking for a virtual modification project based on the vehicle. We were more than happy when we found the creation show in the adjacent images. Brought to life by a Romanian designer, Ciprian Andrus, the project offers a complete makeover for the SUV, targeting both the aesthetics and the performance areas and dresses the car in a custom red paint.
At the front of the car we can find a redesigned bumper that comes with generous air intakes and a new type of mesh grille, a modified radiator grille, as well as new headlights with eyelids. In addition to that the stock hood was ditched in favor of a custom one that comes with a power dome. The vehicle has actually been gifted with a wide body kit, so we can also find important changes on the sides, such XXL-size wheel arches and new, rugged side skirts. The car now rides on generously-sized alloy rims that use a black finish and a multi-spoke design.
As far as the tech side is concerned, the SUV has been fitted with a set of beefy brakes provided by Brembo and with a lowered suspension.
