Adrien Brody Rides a Ducati Monster 900 Cromo

Most of you know Adrien Brody from his role in Roman Polanski’s The Pianist, some of you from the ‘kissing Halle Berry’ scene before accepting his Oscar in 2002, but only few of you know that the American actor is an avid motorcyclist.

Brody bought his first real bike while he was in his early teens, namely a Ninja ZX900. He has ridden for years since then, everywhere from Queens to India. In 1992, Brody was seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident in which he flew over a car and crashed head-first into a crosswalk.

Despite the severe injuries he sustained following the crash, Brody got back in the saddle as soon as a friend of his gave him a Ducati Monster as a present.

He was snapped by paparazzi earlier this year attending a party at a house in Mailbu on the Pacific Coast highway, arriving there riding his Monster 900 Cromo bike and wearing a Ducati Old Times leather jacket.

Oh, and by the way, Brody has a good taste in four-wheeled vehicles as well. Some two months ago, we were reporting that his 1996 Corvette ZO6 was up for grabs on eBay. Finished in Silver and Black interior, the Corvette coupe is powered by a 7.0L LS7 8-cylinder gasoline engine capable of developing 505 horsepower at 6300 rpm and a maximum torque of 470 lb-ft (640 Nm) at 4800 rpm.

The actor himself went to the assembly plant while this car was being built and actually signed the engine block.

Brody is the youngest actor to win the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, at the age of 29.
