Camper vans are the most popular choice among outdoor enthusiasts looking to break the routine and find freedom and discovery. With only a limited amount of space to work with in this type of mobile home, you'd be tempted to think van conversions begin to look rather similar. But not Miss Mokum by Vanpuravida.
Miss Mokum is a stylish, custom-built camper van with a boho-inspired interior and unique features that turn it into a peaceful haven on wheels.

The team behind this rig - Vanpuravida - is a company based in Essex, the UK, specializing in building luxury van conversions with a focus on high-design details. Their beautiful handcrafted vans boast bespoke layouts and harmoniously marry the floorplan with the colors and materials used to make sure the design matches the client's tastes.

Miss Mokum is no exception. Based on a Ducato L3H3, this van conversion was specially crafted for a couple who are both avid wine lovers and are ready for a roaming life. The design has recently been named the Best Luxury Camper Conversion on eBay's inaugural Van Conversion of the Year Awards, which is a testament to the build's quality and exceptional aesthetics.

The base vehicle has been painted studio green to perfectly blend with the environment, the tires have been upgraded to ensure the owner can travel further, and the van was also fitted with an awning to extend the living space to the outdoors.

However, what really makes this build stand out from the crowd is its cozy interior with a Bohemian style and peaceful environment. Aimed at making life on the road more enjoyable, Miss Mokum features a large kitchen with an outdoor view, a comfortable dining area, a lift-up bed, and a decently sized garage.

The same studio green hue was used on the interior walls and for the kitchen cabinetry, adding a remarkable cohesiveness to the design.

Honestly, we can't decide which part of this van conversion we love the most because each section is unique and surprising. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous, the rear configuration that comprises both the lounge/dining area and the sleeping space is incredibly clever and functional, and we've never seen such a neatly organized garage space before.

Many van conversions don't use a divider wall to separate the cab from the living quarters as it restricts available space, and you obviously cannot use front seats as extra seating, but this partition wall can bring many benefits, like extra privacy, better insulation, and extra wall space.

In the case of Miss Mokum, the partition wall came quite in handy, as part of the kitchen was built against it. It opened up the possibility of including an L-shaped kitchen counter and floating shelves for extra storage space.

Vanpuravida not only focused on ensuring the aesthetic appeal of this space but also on adding functionality, so they outfitted it with a two-burner cooktop, a beautiful copper sink, and a fridge freezer. The standout feature is, however, the wine cooler, a luxury feature you don't usually find in van conversions.

Moving towards the back of the van, you will find the U-shaped lounge/dining area with comfortable benches that have integrated storage and a center table. Large windows all around ensure the brightness of the space, and if you also open the van's back door, you will be able to enjoy breathtaking views while sipping your coffee.

The back of the van also houses the sleeping quarters by means of a cleverly designed bed frame that relies on an electric lift to descend from the ceiling when it's time for sleep. As such, the actual bed stays out of the way during the day and provides a comfy sleeping space during the night.

The bottom part of the bed frame is wrapped in narrow wood slates like the rest of the ceiling to create a unified look. The slated ceiling boasts LED stripes with black diffusers that further enhance the inviting atmosphere.

But the electric lift-up bed is not the only sleeping space inside the van, as the dining benches and table can also transform into a large double bed, accommodating two guests.

The back of the van also doubles as an entertaining space with a video screen to be used with a projector and a quality sound system.

As for the bathroom necessities, Miss Mokum is equipped with an external shower and a portable toilet that is stowed away under one of the dinette benches.

The garage area accessible from the outside of the van is yet another pleasant surprise of this van conversion. It has enough room to store two folding bikes and additional camping gear, plus some neat open shelves on the upper part for other knick-knacks.

With its luxurious-looking interior, functional kitchen, built-in dining space, and lift-up bed, the charming Miss Mokum camper van allows owners to go anywhere in style and could serve as inspiration for anyone looking to build their dream motorhome.
