Crane Takes on Bus - Crane Wins!

Driving a mobile crane around may seem just as hard or as easy as driving a regular truck, depending on where you stand on the difficulty of driving trucks in general, yet since it has ‘extra protrusions’, we say it is even trickier to thread through traffic than any other large vehicle.
The driver of this crane forgets that he has a good few extra meters ahead of him (the folded up swing-arm), and while trying to make a left turn in a rather busy intersection, it hits an approaching bus, tipping it onto its side, and onto the bonnet of another waiting car.

This was clearly the fault of the crane driver, for not taking the movement limitations of his vehicle into account. Furthermore, if he would have hit the bus harder, the crash would have been much more serious, for whoever was aboard the bus, as it would have smashed right through the upper part of the vehicle, where structural rigidity is not at its best - it is also where the passengers sit.
