This is one of the more peculiar incidents we have seen in a while. So, there’s this this (probably female) driver who impatiently stays too close to a crane which was being transported on a large flatbed, towed behind a truck.
Things get rather strange when the car gets hooked onto the crane and is then dragged at a 90-degree angle, before a scooter rider rushes ahead to let the truck driver know what had happened.
Aside from the bizarre nature of the incident, it must have been rather amusing for onlookers who have never, and probably will never see anything like this again. One question remains, though. Was it a magnetic crane which pulled the car off the ground, or did the car have a roof rack which somehow got tangled in the crane’s hook?
We don’t really know, but the more plausible of the two is the magenetic crane idea which fits the action perfectly - there’s even a faint whine/hum, once the car is hooked. Skip to 1:30 of the video to get closer to the action, as it is currently long and unedited.
