The first information of the 2-liter turbocharged Lexus RX came this year in April, after the automaker registered the RX 200t nameplate under trademark #1550008 in Australia.
Now, the subject comes back to our attention, as Japanese magazine MAG-X published some pictures claiming to be a test mule for the turbocharged Lexus RX 200t.
MAG-X’s September issue shows a spied Lexus RX, with its badges covered and wearing standard, matte front and rear bumpers that was seen in Japan.
The RX won’t be the only Lexus in the range to use a turbocharged engine, as the NX 200t was also registered late last year in the USA, Canada and Australia. The Lexus LF-NX Concept was recently revealed at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show as a compact crossover placed under the RX model.
