Enter Motit, the next step in electric mobility: e-scooter sharing, a daring and at the same time wonderful project initiated in Barcelona, Spain.
Engineered by Core and backed up by local project implementation group Going Green, the electric scooter-sharing idea is an extension to the existing electric car programs. The available fleets also include Vectrix scooters.

Motit can ride as fast as 65 km/h (40 mph), but custom versions are available according to needs. The equivalent of an 125cc bike, Motit has a 4.1 kW max power (5.5 HP) and is powered by a 1.5 kWh Lithium Polymer battery weighing only 9 kg (under 20 lbs). The range is 40-60 km (25-37 miles).

With an 80 kg (176 lbs) total weight, the Core Motit needs 2 hours for an 80% charge. The helmet locking system and a 7" touchscreen GPS are standard, and the Motit is also smartphone-capable. Remote tracking and diagnostics are carried out via 3G networks.

Multiple usage plans are available, from tourist plans to monthly, weekly or daily subscriptions, or even per km pricing. Awesome!
