We all dream of owning a yacht that would allow us to escape the confines of daily life and explore breathtaking coastlines, but moving from yachting enthusiasts into the ranks of yacht owners is a privilege reserved for just a few. The rest of us mortals who don't have millions to spend on luxury watercraft can only live out our rich fantasies through others.
Vero from Codecasa Yachts is a stunning vessel that will surely offer its Asian owner memorable moments with their family and friends. The 79-foot (24-meter) motor yacht has just been launched by the Italian yard at its production facility in Viareggio, showcasing a balanced blend of timeless elegance and modern allure.

Vero is a one-of-a-kind motor yacht, as it was specially designed and created with devotion and enthusiasm for the discerning Asian client. This is the Gentleman's Yacht project that Codecasa revealed three years ago and is perfect for families or as a second yacht.

The exquisite styling of this all-aluminum yacht will take you back in time several decades, as Luca Dina, the designer responsible for its classic exterior lines, took design cues from the 1950s. However, beneath the surface, this custom yacht has been outfitted with "all modern systems, state-of-the-art technology, and advanced functionality."

You don't have to be a seasoned yachtsman to appreciate the classic design of the vessels built during that decade. Just like the classic cars from that period with their dramatic fins and chrome accents, the yachts from the '50 are instantly recognizable thanks to their wood construction, round windows, and the use of mahogany and stainless steel elements.

The vintage inspiration is instantly noticeable in the classic profile and the round windows. Varnished mahogany detailing further enhances the retro look.

"There are projects commissioned by yacht owners, projects commissioned by shipyards, and then there are projects that are born from a particular inspiration. This is one of those projects. The idea was to transform a piece of nautical history into something exclusive," says Luca Dini about Vero.

When it comes to performance, this custom vessel is modern to the core. If you get down low and look under the hull designed by Francesco Rogantin of the NAMES naval architecture studio, don't expect to find the traditional shafts and rudder but rather two state-of-the-art MAN D2862LE426 V12 pods outputting 1550 hp at 2,300 rpm. Besides extraordinary maneuverability, the engines will give the yacht a top speed of 25 knots. While cruising at 9 knots, Vero will be able to offer a range of nearly 2000 nautical miles.

Rogatin also managed to find a solution to incorporate a tender without cluttering the decks. He designed the yacht with a hidden davit that deploys only when the fully customized aluminum tender is launched into the water or needs to come back onboard the aft deck. The rest of the time, the aft deck can be used for relaxation and entertainment.

In terms of accommodation, Vero can sleep up to eight guests thanks to a four-stateroom layout. The owner's stateroom is located on the main deck, which is unusual for a yacht of this size, while the rest of the guest cabins can be found on the lower deck. Two twin bedrooms for four crew members are also on the lower deck.

Notably, the yacht also boasts an entirely enclosed beach club that offers the owner and their guests the perfect environment to socialize and spend time together.

The custom Codecasa Vero yacht is set to be delivered in spring 2024. With its sophistication, elegance, and classic character, it will surely turn heads wherever it cruises.
