Introduced in 1965, the Shelby GT350 was mainly built for the track. Powered by a modified 4.7-liter that delivered 306 HP, the musclecar had nothing to do with comfort and needed drivers with really good skills behind the steering wheel.
Things changed a bit the following year when Shelby rolled out rear seats and an optional automatic transmission, but the GT350 went on to keep its track-prepped status among musclecar enthusiasts. And rightfully so, we might add, as the original GT350s are joy to watch while performing on the track.
